This dual health plan is for people who qualify for both Medicaid and Medicare Parts A & B (Original Medicare).

This is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan. With an HMO plan, you must use network providers to get your medical care and services.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Hawki


The UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa (Hawki) plan is for children in Iowa up to age 19. Eligibility is based on family income. Your family may qualify, even if both parents are working. You can choose your child’s doctor from a network of providers.

Our IA Health Link plan is for children, pregnant women, families and adults. This plan also covers adults and children who have a disability, long-term illness or special health care needs. You can choose your own doctor. And you get many extras that other plans don’t offer.
